Biography

Lucia Mýtna Kureková (PhD) works as a senior researcher at the Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences, Institute for Forecasting of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS). Engaging with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, her research focuses on areas such as labour migration and immigrant labour market integration; welfare and social inclusion; skills and technological change; and online labour market data. She has widely published in recognised international journals, including Kyklos, Journal of Education and Work, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Employee Relations, Journal of European Public Policy, and Journal of Common Market Studies. She has participated as lead researcher in several international collaborative research projects funded by the European Commission, including PACES, STYLE, NEUJOBS, POW-BRIDGE, INFO-POW, and ISKILL. In addition to academic work, she provides expertise to international organizations, including ILO, CEDEFOP, and OECD. She is an editorial board member of the Journal of Economics (Ekonomický časopis) and a research fellow at IZA@LISER, GLO, and CELSI.
